Welcome to Virginians for Civic Engagement! We strengthen civic participation across the Commonwealth by advocating for government accessibility, and youth representation on local governments.
What we do

We advocate and collaborate with school boards, city councils, town councils, and boards of county supervisors across the Commonwealth to ensure meaningful youth representation, and increased government accessibility

We work with local governments and school boards to ensure youth representation, in every locality and school division.
Government Accessibility and Transparency
We work with local governments across the Commonwealth to advocate for accessibility and transparency! This includes but is not limited to ASL Interpreters and closed captions for official meetings, and ADA-compliant venues for government events.
